Bought this item to replace the very old faded/cracking reflective 3" tape originally on the bottom rear of my Commercial-quality shell. No Problem with being lacking in adhesion, because after removing Old reflective tape, I prepared the surface with a sanding block/fine sandpaper to smooth and dusted clean. Starting on the left, i measured & cut new tape and applied level and straight. One piece was a little off so there was NO problem pulling back off & repositioning. The stickiness of this tape is Amazing.. It's all in how the surface is prepped, for sure. It's brightness & reflectability is excellent. Install it correctly and, like me, expect Years of Service. Inexpensive but Impressive....
