If your bike handlebars require heavy cork tape to reduce vibration. Do not buy these.But if you have good gloves, a carbon bike and tires that absorb road vibrations well and you would like to shave off a little weight on your bike while getting better grip...then these are for you.They are your run of the mill non-cork (I didn't see any bits of cork in the tape at all nor was it advertised to have any) handle bar tape that has been roughed up or shaved to create a rough texture on the outside hence the name... Ruff wrap.With my sweaty ungloved hands, I have not experienced any slippage and I find the texture to be perfect. The box comes with two rolls of tape, two pieces of black finishing tape, two pieces of tape for your brake hoods and two bar end plugs made from black plastic. All of which are decent quality and fit my bike perfectly without issues. I can't complain, it's no frills, light and grips well.The red color is also a wonderful shade of bright red that matches my red bike parts superbly.Bold and red.This tape transformed my bikes. Head turn and tongues wag every time i go out on the bikes (one of which is red coloured bike).The feel is very reassuring and you don't get to think it might tear off or peel off.I've washed it more than five times now and they're still the same color as when i installed them.Good tape for whoever needs to replace an old one. You sure wont regret the buy.
